The Supplier Value Awards

The Supplier Value Awards Programme (SVAP) is an annual event which recognises the achievements of Home Office suppliers in demonstrating value from the delivery of products and services.

The ceremony for the 2008/09 Supplier Value Awards Programme, the second time the event has been held, took place on 9 July at the Home Office, 2 Marsham Street.

The evening was opened by Helen Kilpatrick, Director General of Financial and Commercial and hosted by John Collington, Home Office Group Commercial Director. The Permanent Secretary, Sir David Normington presented the awards.

The winners for each award category were:

  • Most beneficial contribution to a project or programme 2009: Fujitsu Services - SBS Programme
  • Most beneficial contribution to sustainability 2009: Angel London Ltd - Target Contracts
  • Best example of performance improvement 2009: Teleperformance - Identity and Passport Service Contact Centre
  • Best example of collaborative working with the Home Office 2009: Berkshire Consultancy Ltd - UKBA Engage
  • Most beneficial contribution by a Small Medium Enterprise 2009: NQC Ltd - CAESER
  • Most beneficial contribution to the Home Office by a Third Sector organisation 2009: Remploy Frontline - design, manufacture, supply and delivery of CBRN
  • Supplier of the Year 2009: Berkshire Consultancy Ltd.

SVAP aims to recognise and encourage supplier excellence in support delivery of Home Office services. The award categories have been aligned Supplier Relationship Management themes including value, performance, collaboration and Corporate Social Responsibility.
