27 May 2009
The Supplier Value Awards Programme is an initiative which seeks to recognise the achievements of suppliers and staff in driving value from commercial activities and to help us meet the challenges of our Comprehensive Spending Review budget allocations.
The Supplier Value Awards Programme 2009 was launched in November 2008 with a closing date for receipt of case studies on 24 April 2009. The number of case studies received and the quality was impressive and they are now with the judges for evaluation.
The invitations to attend the award ceremony on 9 July are now being issued, with joining instructions sent three weeks before the actual event. Invitations are being sent to all suppliers who submitted case studies.
The award ceremony will take place at the Home Office, 2 Marsham Street, London.
The award categories for 2009 were:
- most beneficial contribution to a project or programme
- most beneficial contribution to sustainability
- best example of performance improvement
- best example of collaborative working with the Home Office
- most beneficial contribution by a small medium enterprise
- most beneficial contribution to the Home Office by a third sector organisation
The winners names will be published soon after the event.
